Do you know how or where to find clients?

For most artists, designers, and creatives, marketing courses aren’t typically part of the curriculum. Then, in your first year out of school, you’re left with one question, “where do I start?”

Marketing yourself is crucial to sustaining growth as a freelancer, business owner, or even recent graduate. It’s what lets people find you, and allows you to learn who you’d like to work with.

One of my favorite marketing strategies goes something like this, “market to the marketers that are marketing to you.”

Have you noticed that people are hitting your inbox all the time, trying to sell you a product or service? They’re looking for business opportunities. And every once in a while, you can take that same desire for new business and you can turn it on them.

There is always an opportunity to market yourself and your business—you just have to know how. That’s where this lecture series steps in.

When it comes to outbound vs. inbound, there’s no wrong way to approach it. But there’s definitely one that’s going to be more effective. For me, it’s always been inbound, also known as content marketing.
