Diving into Diversity

Let's celebrate diversity.

If you're subscribed to receive The Futur's Finds on Fridays, you may have noticed our absence from your inbox a couple of weeks back. (Yes, we missed you too.) We took some time to reflect and think of actions we can take to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

With that being said, this is our way of taking one small step. We've dedicated this week's list to diversity — in creativity, thought, perspectives, experiences, and ideas.

Our last email contained ideas for innovation, where we looked for new ways to think outside the box and with the future in mind. If you missed that, click here to catch up on the most recent picks.

Now, let's dive into this week's list of diverse finds:

And finally, a poem to keep in mind throughout the week

What if 2020 isn't cancelled?
What if 2020 is the year we've been waiting for?
A year so uncomfortable, so painful, so scary, so raw —
that it finally forces us to grow.
A year that screams so loud, finally awakening us
from our ignorant slumber.
A year we finally accept the need for change.
Declare change. Work for change. Become the change.
A year we finally band together, instead of pushing each other apart.

2020 isn't cancelled, but rather the most important year of them all.
