It’s believed that we are all susceptible to the laws of the universe, one of those laws being the law of attraction.
The law of attraction is the ability to attract things into our lives. What we think about will manifest itself into reality. So if you focus on positive thoughts and clear goals, opportunities, resources, and people will become available to you. The law of attraction also dictates whatever can be imagined is achievable if you take action on a plan to get to where you want to be.
Our guest today is Handel Eugene, a multi-disciplinary artist, animator, and designer located in Southern California. He is a Haitian-American from Tampa, Florida.
Being the child of an immigrant makes the creative path a difficult one. A lot of sacrifices have been made, and oftentimes, families don't want to accept any career path outside of the Doctor/Lawyer safe zone. Chris has walked this path himself, so that gave him an instant connection with Handel Eugene, the son of Haitian immigrants.
Handel has proven his talent to his parents, though, by creating a successful career for himself, most recently working on films like Spider-Man: Homecoming and Black Panther. Chris and Handel discuss the path from being a dreamer to being a successful artist, to becoming a teacher, and how that has positively affected his own work.
So how has Handel made a name for himself as a multimedia artist? For starters, he’s well-equipped to jump into a variety of programs like Photoshop and AfterEffects to create stunning visuals. Handel’s artistic approach allows him to create a variety of styles that are truly amazing. Listen to this episode for Handel’s story, how he’s built his career, and his take on the law of attraction.
